Meet Our Expert Team
Cao Ferreira
Meet your tour leader - Born and raised in Manaus, in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon, where nature has always been an inseparable part of his life. With more than 30 years of professional experience behind the camera, photography has been not only his career but also his lifelong passion.
For decades, he worked in the world of advertising photography, developing a keen eye for detail, composition, and storytelling. Today, he dedicates himself entirely to what truly inspires him: capturing the wild beauty of the Amazon and sharing its wonders with the world.
Beyond photographing the landscapes, wildlife, and people of this extraordinary region, he also leads photographic expeditions through the Amazon rainforest. These journeys are designed not to teach photography, but to immerse visitors in the magic of the forest—its colors, its sounds, its endless diversity.
Every click of the shutter is, for him, a way of honoring the land he loves and the art of photography that has shaped his life.

Isabella Souza
Meet our Chef - Born in Coari, deep in the Amazon region of Brazil, our chef brings with her over 10 years of professional culinary experience and a solid academic background in gastronomy. From a young age, she developed both skill and passion for working with the unique flavors of her homeland.
Specialized in regional Amazonian cuisine, she masterfully prepares dishes featuring local treasures such as freshwater fish, tucupi, and Brazil nuts. With a blend of tradition and creativity, her cooking reflects the authentic essence of the Amazon.
As the chef of Amazonia Photographica, she will be responsible for introducing our guests to the flavors of the rainforest. Whether on board our boats or in our partner resorts, every dish will be crafted with care, bringing a true taste of the Amazon to adventurous travelers.

Armando Ferreira
Meet your assistant tour leader - Born in Manaus, Amazonas, where the vast rainforest has always been a source of inspiration and wonder. Later, he moved to Curitiba to study at the Federal University of Paraná, where he lived for many years. Even during that time away, his connection to the Amazon remained strong—its landscapes, its people, and its boundless diversity never left his heart.
Although his professional path initially led him into other fields, over time he discovered a new passion that grew into something profound: photography. What began as a hobby soon became a powerful way for him to reconnect with his roots and to share the beauty of the Amazon with others.
Today, as an amateur photographer and enthusiastic explorer, he is dedicated to leading photographic excursions through the Amazon. These journeys are not only about capturing images but also about experiencing the spirit of the rainforest. Through his lens, he seeks to honor both his love for photography and his enduring devotion to the Amazon region. Futhermore, as he says: "meeting people from around the world and getting in touch with their culture is something I truly appreciate!"
